Griffintown Media teamed up with Montreal’s historic Atwater Library to develop an original concept theme in celebration of Quebec’s English-language writers, past and present, including a logo, typewriter display, Web site and exhibition display panels.

The logo is simple and hardworking and relates to the symbolic image of a typewriter and keys, which relates to the iconic symbol of writing and also the center point of the exhibit’s display: the manual typewriter.

The display panels were custom made, designed to fit within the existing shelving system at the library. Our graphic artist visited the site, talked with the organizers, created the panel artwork, coordinated the custom printing and helped oversee the final mounting.

The Web site was designed to prominently display the exhibition panels, and promote the various events surrounding the celebrations. All exhibition panels are viewable on the site.
